MOISTURISING QUEEN -

There is not a day I don't moisturise. When I don't have a flare, my body is as smooth as a baby's bottom. When in the middle of a psoriasis flare, your skin becomes dry, scaly and my skin in particular, peels like I've been sunburnt. This is due to my skin cells producing quicker than the average. It is so frustrating as I literally have to moisturise my skin in certain directions, so the parts that are peeling, stay flat and don't flick up encouraging me to peel it off.

As I hear from my partner all the time, "If I had that, man I'd be picking at myself all the time!". It is so hard not too purely for the satisfaction and not gonna lie, I bloody do it!

QV MOISTURISERS -

Now, I have tried multiple types of QV. I found this one to be really lightweight and not thick enough to absorb deep into my skin. Literally just cream. After a shower and going on about my day, my skin is already back to how it was prior to moisturising and then I'm anxious that my skin isn't going to look nice while I'm out.

I have been recommended baby QV moisturiser as it is thick and not greasy. I'm just yet to try that!

Intensive QV cream I didn't mind. I found it to absorb into my skin really well and how I can tell is, my skin goes shiny and my spots go a light red but kind of a wet look (in a weird but good way). However, the only down fall I would say, is the greasy effect. After applying this cream, if I sat on a leather chair, rested my arm on the console of the car or put my elbows on the dining table, it would show. So every time I moisturised, the cream would wear off having been rubbed off onto everything.

QV GENTLE WASH -

I have used QV wash for quite some time now. Doesn't really phase me or give my skin any particular relief. Sometimes if I'm super itchy it can give me a soothing sensation but nothing major. I mainly use it because it has no fragrance, it's made for skin conditions like psoriasis and for all round sensitive skin.

SORBOLENE & VIT. E

I've ditched the QV's and am trying Sorbolene. Sorbolene always gave me the grumps because if you apply too much, it takes forever to rub in. Now, we've made friends and I've now learnt what the right amount is to apply and if I need more, I'll just apply a little more. So far it has been okay, doesn't hydrate me ALL day or for a super long period, so if I am at home, I'll just top myself up.

ALOE SOOTH VASO -

Purely because I just want a nice subtle scent on my sensitive skin, I've been applying this time to time. I use this mainly on my feet because who doesn't love soft feet! BUT, this will never be my main moisturising cream, more just an extra treat time to time. It smells beautiful!
